Puerto Vallarta fishing report September 2020
The big fish continue to bite offshore.  We have been catching Yellowfin
Tuna, Dorado, Marlin, and Sailfish on offshore fishing charters.  The Yellowfin
Tuna have been biting live bait trolling or also drifting with kites and live bait.
Captain Steve had a big overnight fishing charter and caught one of the
biggest cows of the Puerto Vallarta fishing season over 300 lbs.  We have
also caught a few Tuna over 150 lbs close to Corbetena and El Banco but
most have been caught past the 2nd island on overnight fishing charters.
Captain Cesar caught one of the biggest Black Marlins of the year at the
beginning of the month 500 + lbs see photo below.  The Sailfish average size
has been 40 - 100 lbs biting on 8, 10, and 12 hour fishing charters. The
Dorado or Mahi Mahi average size has been 20-40 lbs also caught on 8, 10,
and 12 hour Puerto Vallarta fishing charters.  Inshore or inside Banderas
Bay on 4 and 6 hour fishing charters We have been catching Jack Crevalle,
