| Puerto Vallarta fishing report September 2019 Another great month of fishing inshore and offshore here in Puerto Vallarta. We have caught almost every species this last month but it has been day to day on what was going to bite one day it was Sailfish, one day Dorado Blue and Black Marlin, and even a few big Yellowfin Tuna as well. The most consistent big game fish bite this month has definitely been Blue Marlin with an average size of 200-400 lbs. The Marlin have been biting while trolling with Lures or trolling with Live Bait. Most of Black Marlin have been caught at El Banco and La Corbetena. We had 2 days where we found the Big Tuna outside of Corbetena but the rest of the month the bigger Tuna have stayed further offshore past the 2nd Island. Inshore inside the bay there has been alot of smaller action including Skip Jacks, Small Sharks, Jack Crevalle, and small Dorado.
