| Puerto Vallarta fishing report March 2019 Offshore we have found the Yellowfin Tunas on 10 -14 hour fishing charters with the average size of 30-80 lbs biting on live bait. The Bigger Tuna over 100 lbs are also biting but to get to the bigger cows you need to go past the 2nd Island 90 + miles offshore on a overnight fishing charter. We have also caught a few Striped Marlin offshore trolling with live bait and small Red Snappers bottom fishing off of La Corbetena. Inside Banderas Bay has been hot with Jack Crevalle, Skip Jacks and the occasional small Dorado. The Roosterfish bite has slowed down off the point but are still biting outside the southside of the bay pass the Lighthouse.
