Puerto Vallarta fishing report January 2015. It has been a great month or year of fishing so far you would think it was
November when you are having Blue Marlin reports almost every offshore 12 hr day. Along with the Blue Marlin We are also
catching Striped Marlin, Sailfish, and Mahi mahi. Gary Wilson caught all 3 on a day out with captain Steve Torres on the My
Marlin last week. Inshore closer off the point of Punta de Mita we have been seeing smaller Dorado between 10-15 lbs
offshore the Dorado have been bigger in size 15-40 lbs. Both biting live bait trolling and casting. We have also caught a few
Roosterfish off the point as well. Closer inshore or inside Banderas bay there is alot of smaller fish to catch Bonitas, Jack
Crevalle, other smaller species and also the occasional school of smaller Dorado. Now if you after Yellowfin Tuna they are
definitely out there a but you are looking at a over night charter 70 + miles offshore averaging 100-300 lbs We have been
