Puerto Vallarta fishing report January 2019
Lots of different smaller species so far this year the water has cooled down rapidly and the
Blue and Black Marlin season is over.  We are starting to catch alot of Roosterfish, and are
still catching Dorado/Mahi Mahi inshore and offshore.  Inshore We also catching alot of
Jack Crevalle and Bigeye Trevally.  Captain Cesar Perez and Team Marshell went to the
44th annual international fishing Tournament in Barra Navidad on the January 16th and
won 2nd place Marlin with a 320 lb Blue.  Great Tournament and Barra is always awesome
to visit.  We should start seeing the Striped Marlin season pick up soon so look for some
nice release videos on our next report.  For all the big anglers looking for Yellowfin Tuna
they are biting close to the 2nd island 80 + miles offshore and the average size this last
week was 150 -200 lbs and seem to be getting bigger check out our Overnight fishing
